About
The foundation will use the tragedy of losing Burke to bring about awareness and funding of community-based heart screenings for children that could have undiagnosed heart conditions. We will organize healthcare providers, parents, businesses, schools, governmental bodies and others to provide Electrocardiograms to student athletes. The foundation will raise money through fundraising, events and sponsorships to provide low-cost screenings to detect heart abnormalities, disease or other heart-related defects that afflict young people. Our goal is to prevent Sudden Cardiac Death in children and teens.

Electrocardiogram (ECG) heart screening helps detect heart conditions before tragedy can strike. We conduct screenings from time to time which are open to all students ages 11-22 regardless of school, sport or level of play.
